One of my favorite restaurants because of the huge servings and hearty dishes, the Burgoo does not disappoint. My favorite dish is not a main dish but an entrée , the Seafood Caesar Supreme. Not your typical Caesar salad, the Seafood Caesar Supreme is topped with grilled shrimps, fried calamari, crab meat and Parmesan cheese. A word of advice, if you’re by yourself, stick with the regular serving, its enough of 2 persons.
When eating at Burgoo, I always make a point to order a different main dish during each visit. During my last stop at Burgoo, I ordered the Angus beef steak with corn cobs and mashed potatoes with the dish where Burgoo gets it’s name, the Burgoo Stew. In my latest visit just last week, I ordered the Baby Back Ribs, also served with grilled corn cobs and french fries. See the herbs on sprinkled on top of the ribs? They spell F-L-A-V-O-R. Lots of it!
The Burgoo menu is not limited to salads and ribs, there are many different pastas, burgers, pizza and seafood available to satisfy the pickiest of eaters. Eating at Burgoo can be a bit pricey, be ready to spend at least P350 for a meal.
